HOW LONG SHOULD YOU MARINATE CHICKEN?

Chicken can be safely marinated up to 48 hours according to the Food and Drug Administration. However, vinegar based marinates such as this one should not be used for extended periods of time as vinegar can cause the chicken to become stingy and tough.
For this recipe shoot for a marinading time from 30 minutes up to 4 hours. This allows plenty of time for the chicken to become flavorful without compromising the quality of the dish.

HOW DO YOU MAKE BALSAMIC GRILLED CHICKEN?

To make Balsamic Grilled Chicken you must first prepare the Balsamic Vinegar marinade. This marinade has just 7 ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry. Simply combine the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, dijon mustard, sweetener, salt and pepper and whisk well. Pour over the chicken and store in the refrigerator from 30 minutes up to 24 hours.
Heat a grill to high heat, approximately 400 degrees. Secondly, carefully place the chicken on the grill until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees. Specific cooking times for different cuts of chicken can be found below.
